Noblis Experience Corporate Awards: Meet Cody
The Noblis Experience Corporate Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond to consistently deliver exceptional service to customers and colleagues by leveraging our common purpose and service standards and behaviors. This series spotlights recipients of this award and their stories.
Cody is a member of the Health Solutions team in Noblis’ Federal Civilian Solutions Mission Area. Cody acts with an unwavering commitment to the “Respect” service standard that is part of the Noblis Experience. He goes above and beyond to provide opportunities that can facilitate growth for both him and his team.
Cody is an empathetic leader by example. He is a team player who consistently, and authentically, follows the Noblis service standards in every interaction with every colleague and customer. He regularly brings his team together to celebrate successes and resolves issues. He encourages his team to ask for support on customer challenges, technical questions, corporate citizenship and even topics like work/life balance and burnout prevention. According to one of his teammates, no matter the topic of discussion, “one thing is consistent; Cody takes the time to make sure his team is heard and respected.”
In 2022, Cody established an internal Data Science community to help employees support their customers, accounts and Noblis divisions and mission areas. This community has bridged numerous connections across the organization and created great impacts for Noblis’.
His innovative approach to management and collaboration has helped him establish trust with his teammates and others throughout the organization. He has created an environment where his team feels empowered to share, try new things and acknowledge the value of complimentary expertise.
Cody has shared his data expertise and his thought leadership across Noblis. He helped lead a collaboration with colleagues across Noblis to produce the first edition of an Artificial Intelligence Field Guide for public sector enterprises – launched to the public this summer.
Cody contributed greatly to a more inclusive, equitable and capable culture through serving as an initial member of Noblis’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Steering Committee. He has also helped launch employee resource groups and corporate task forces for the company’s DEIA initiatives.
