Noblis Experience Corporate Awards: Meet Kathleen
The Noblis Experience Corporate Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond to consistently deliver exceptional service to customers and colleagues by leveraging our common purpose and service standards and behaviors. This series spotlights recipients of this award and their stories.
Kathleen works for Noblis ESI as part of the Noblis Intelligence and Law Enforcement Mission Area. She exemplifies the Noblis Experience in all her work, but her commitment to the company’s service standards to be respectful, innovative and efficient was particularly apparent during the execution of a contract vehicle transition in FY22.
Kathleen led a yearlong effort to transition a previously awarded contract over to a new indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (IDIQ) vehicle. This transition required financial and contractual data to be revised and mapped to the new structure. She established trust and confidence with the customer by creating an easy-to-follow roadmap and working directly with the contracting office to ensure a solid transition.
As the subject matter expert leading this transition, Kathleen ensured that the new contract was setup in the most effective and efficient way possible. Throughout the course of this collaborative project, Kathleen went above and beyond to maintain the integrity and quality of the data and exhibited the highest level of professionalism with the customer and her Noblis ESI team. At times, the teams were under a lot of pressure and Kathleen was able to respectfully communicate with program managers to reach agreements and solutions where necessary. While leading this complex project, Kathleen also maintained her routine program control activities and made sure other customer deliverables were processed in a timely manner.
Kathleen was regularly recognized by the customer during the transition, and even won the Noblis ESI Employee of the Quarter award because of her efforts. Her leadership resulted in an innovative and efficient solution that allowed the customer to reduce the number of tasks, saving time, effort and money.
