Noblis Experience Corporate Awards: Meet Amy
The Noblis Experience Corporate Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond to consistently deliver exceptional service to customers and colleagues by leveraging our common purpose and service standards and behaviors. This series spotlights recipients of this award and their stories.
Amy is a Senior Instructional Designer in Noblis’ Intelligence and Law Enforcement mission area. She has made remarkable impacts for her customers and Noblis since joining the company in 2020. Amy is a trusted colleague with a passion for excellence and innovation and consistently brings the Noblis Experience to life.
In 2022, Amy led a team of subject matter experts as they developed and delivered new Biofamiliarization training modules for their customer. Amy brought her best to develop high quality, innovative and engaging educational experiences that adhere to best practices. This included working with one of Noblis’ internal research and development teams to create an immersive virtual reality training module centered on the operation of a life science lab instrument. Under Amy’s leadership, the team met their deadlines and the quality standards set out at the beginning of the project and received high scores on their evaluations.
In addition to developing innovative solutions for Noblis customers, Amy was critical to the creation and formalization of the Military and Veterans employee resource group (ERG), which fosters networking, professional development, mentoring and leadership opportunities with a focus on the recruitment, retention, learning and advancement of military, veteran and spouses at Noblis.
Amy is now the Chair of the ERG and continues to provide resources to the growing military and veteran population across the organization. She provides leadership for the ERG and is focused on building an inclusive community at Noblis. Amy and members of the Noblis ERG are creating opportunities for continued service through outreach and volunteer opportunities, helping veterans transition to civilian life and creating job opportunities through programs like Hiring our Heroes and working to ensure those who served have access to the benefits they’ve earned.
